Kevin Flood offers leaders a unique blend of technical depth and executive insights. His advisory focus sits at the intersection of business transformation, product strategy, organizational design, and operational alignment. Kevin’s 40-plus year career includes experience with organizations across the maturity spectrum, from start-ups to multinational global leaders, helping leadership teams navigate growth, innovation, and change.
His diverse leadership background comprises senior positions and executive roles with responsibilities spanning systems engineering and project management, product management, marketing, business development, and application engineering. He culminated his 23-year tenure at Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) as co-Chief Revenue Officer, and ultimately President and General Manager, where he led strategy and execution for a global leader serving the aerospace, defense, and intelligence communities. Earlier in his career, Kevin held a variety of engineering leadership positions and is the inventor or co-inventor on five patents in optics and optical communications.
Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Kevin is the founder of High Water Insights, LLC, an advisory and consulting firm supporting organizations navigating the dynamic waters of business transformation in the high-tech, aerospace, and defense markets. Through his advisory work, he helps leaders align strategy, operations, and organizational capabilities to achieve sustainable growth and performance.
Kevin lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife, Sharon. He has two adult children, Brendan and Bridget, and seven grandchildren.
